A Highlands Tradition since 1972

Our mission has remained the same for over 50 years: to offer high-quality goods at fair prices, paired with customer service that feels like a warm Highlands welcome. We hope you’ll stop by and experience The Dry Sink — maybe you’ll even make us part of your Highlands tradition.

It all began in a small shop near Old Edwards Inn, opened by the Parishes. Just two years later, the Hoveys took the reins, growing the store into something special. As Highlands evolved, so did we —moving from a bustling shop in Village Square to our forever home on Main Street in 1980.

Today, you’ll find a mix of kitchenware, gadgets, small appliances, candles, glassware, bath & body favorites, greeting cards, partyware, and seasonal surprises. We love helping visitors find something special—whether it’s a gift, a little indulgence, or a piece that feels like home.

A Family Legacy

For decades, The Dry Sink has been more than a store - it's been a family. Alan carried that spirit forward growing The Dry Sink with care and dedication.

When Alan passed, his sisters Julie and Susie stepped in to continue his legacy. Together, they've kept his vision alive- honoring the past while embracing the full potential and future of The Dry Sink.
